Mobile medical services company providing in-home medical services including venipuncture lab collection + vaccine administration. We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses (RN’s) to perform in-home venipuncture lab collection + vaccine administration, and most of all, professionals who love working with people and are seeking work + life balance and flexible scheduling! The position would be an on-call, self-scheduling with compensation per appointment.

We offer flexible self-scheduling with no minimum or maximum commitment. 

Duties:

• Collect venipuncture labs draws for various Haled test kits in patient’s home, office, or prefered location
• Assess patient appropriateness for home lab draws; including safety of the home environment, hygienic workspace
• Obtain and document patient’s identifiers at the start of service to verify patient + service
• Communicate with the operations team regarding scheduling conflicts + no shows 
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of test kits available in the home setting and what collection tubes are required. Maintain knowledge + adherence to utilizing Company policies, procedures and protocols in addition to all available training resources to ensure understanding of services offered. 
• Comply with all State and Federal regulations and laws, including employee health and safety protections mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), patient privacy and data security required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as well as venipunture collection + vaccine administration standards of practice
• Encouraged to complete all recommended training videos + education upon hire and annually per policy, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification. Serve as a professional representative of the Company when meeting with and/or providing education to external customers, payers and referral sources

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of services
• Some experience working as an RN; namely venipuncture labs draws + vaccine administration
• Proficient with electronic medical record documentation
• Willing to work independently in an at home setting
• CPR/BLS certification required

Job Type: 1099 contract

• By appointment; self-scheduled (approximately 15 minutes per appointment)

• Self-scheduling per appointment

Education:

• Associate (required)

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• RN (Required)
• Professional liability insurance (required)
