The Blue Genes™ PGx At-Home Drug Interaction Test contains collection instructions, a self-sealing sterilization pouch, a pouch ID label, an absorbent sheet, two collection swabs, a biohazard bag, and a UPS/FedEx shipping envelope.
The Blue Genes™ PGx At-Home Drug Interaction Test detects genetic variations in DNA that determines drug metabolism, drug targeting, and immune response. The results of this testing are analyzed to predict genetic compatibility with pharmaceutical drugs and prevent adverse drug reactions.
Related symptoms of adverse drug reactions include mild skin reactions such as red, itchy, flaky, or swollen skin, red bumps, or hives. More severe symptoms of adverse drug reactions include skin that blisters or peels, intense swelling and itching, trouble breathing, vision problems, tingling, dizziness, and anaphylaxis.
